Summary

Senior Ian Neibergs dropped 22 points and Garfield-Palouse sealed its berth to regionals on Friday night at Walla Walla Community College, defeating Liberty Christian 61-50 in a District 9 1B playoff game.

The Vikings were 10 of 14 in the fourth quarter, help sealing the victory.

Matt Holbrook added 14 points to go along with Neibergs 22. Chris Kelly had 19 points to lead the Patriots.

Garfield-Palouse will play its first regional game next week. Liberty Christian will play Pomeroy at 5:30 in Walla Walla on Saturday in a loser-out game to determine District 9's No. 2 team to regionals.
