Summary

The Mead Girls had a costly turnover with just 17 seconds remaining in regulation, allowing University to sneak by with a 42-41 victory in the Greater Spokane league district tournament Friday night. U Hi's Kaitlin Pannell had a big night with 21 points including 5 three pointers while teammate Brooke Bailey chipped in 10 points. Aaliyah Pauling led Mead with 12 points as the Panthers season comes to a close. University will move on to play in the opening round of Regional tournament as the 3rd seed.
