After a poor shooting first half, Central Valley pulled away in the second half to top visiting Lewis and Clark 49-38 in the District 8 4A tournament girls basketball championship game Friday.

Twin sisters Lacie and Lexie Hull scored 14 points each for CV (22-0). Riley Lupfer led LC with 15.

Both teams advance to next week's subregional against the Mid-Columbia Conference.
