Meghan Devorak finished with 19 points to help power Colton past Pomeroy 65-33 in the first round of the 1B District 9 playoffs on Friday night.

Colton started off to a 24-2 lead in the first quarter and maintained the pressure. Kendyl Druffel had 15 points for Colton and Kacey Halbert had 13 points and Sydney Smith scored 11 for Pomeroy.

Colton plays Touchet for the district title on Friday at 6 p.m. at Walla Walla Community College.
