Summary

St. Georges, who struggled offensively in the first half, never could close the gap as Northwest Christian cruised to a 53-30 victory in the championship game of the Northeast 2B District tournament Friday night. Asher Cox dumped in 23 points for NWC on 9 for 13 from the floor, including 10 rebounds. His teammate Ryan Ricks added 16 point, 8 of which came in the 3rd. Erik Farias led the Dragons with 11 points. NWC will move on to the Sub Regionals as the #1 seed playing De Sales, while St. Georges will square off against Asotin as the #2 seed- both on Monday.
