Summary

Justis Simmons hit the game-tying three late and two additional 3s in overtime to lead Central Valley past Lewis and Clark 70-62 on Thursday night.

With 45 seconds left, Simmons converted on his second 3-pointer of the night. On the ensuing possession, Lewis and Clark fed the post, but a double-team down low turned into an open three for the game, but it did not fall. Central Valley had a final look to win, but did not convert, but they outscored Lewis and Clark 10-2 in overtime.

Simmons finished the game with 18 points and Cameron Tucker added 15 for CV. Naje' Smith scored 17, Isaiah Hernandez added 16 and Justin Martin finished with 15 for Lewis and Clark, who plays University in an elimination game tomorrow.

Central Valley plays Gonzaga Prep and both teams will advance to regionals.
