Summary

With less than 45 seconds left in overtime and tied at 57, Rogers' KJ Hassett drove for the baseline and was fouled. Hassett made both of his free throws to put Rogers up by two against Mt. Spokane, a lead that the Pirates would hold onto and win their first-round playoff matchup by a final score of 59-57.

Hassett brought in 27 points for Rogers, including 8-9 on free throws, and three assists. Denzel Brantley scored 14 points for Rogers, as well as two three-point baskets. One of the deciding factors in this contest was Rogers shooting 16-17 on free throws, while Mt. Spokane was 7-11.
