Devonte Gorman and Jeremiah Hillard both recorded scoring career highs for East Valley Tuesday night as Knights beat West Valley at home 64-54.

Gorman scored 21 and Hillard scored 23.

Austin Yoakum and Johnny Sage led West Valley with 15 points a piece.

The game was decided from the free throw line. East Valley made 30 of its 36 free throw attempts, while West Valley made 11 of its 14.

For East Valley, it was the first time they beat their rivals twice in the same season. They will get a chance to make it three on Feb. 10 in the first round of districts.
