Makayla Gaiger scored a goal for Medical Lake in the 68th minute to tie up the game against St. George's, which Medical Lake eventually won in a shootout.
Kate Kapporici scored early for St. George's, but the team was not able to hold on to that lead.
In a physical match, neither team was able to score in overtime, but Medical Lake was able to land four of its shootout goals compared to three by St. Georges.
It was a tough loss for St. George's final game of the regular season, but the team starts its playoff games on Saturday.
