Summary

Sadie Bocook and Shannon Payne recorded three hits each, and Mead produced a 10-run fifth inning to defeat visiting Lewis and Clark Thursday in a GSL 4A playoff game.

The game was tied at four entering the frame, when the third-seeded Panthers produced six singles, two doubles and a triple to end the game.

Bocook had two RBIs and a run, while Payne scored twice and drove in one. Destiny Scott added a double and a triple.

Mead will next visit No. 2 seed Central Valley on Monday.

Delaney Plumb had two hits, a run and an RBI for the sixth-seeded Tigers, who were eliminated.
