Summary

Three runs scored after Kiourkas bloop single got past the right fielder in the ninth inning and North Central went on to beat Shadle Park 7-3 in a 3A regional winner-to-state game in Richland.

North Central scored two runs in the seventh to force extra innings.

Brooke Olson, who hit a solo homer in the fourth, pitched all nine innings for the Indians. She allowed three runs on 11 hits and struck out four.

North Central will play Friday in the first round of state in Lacey. Shadle Park was eliminated.
