Taylor Wuesthoff ripped the go-ahead hit and Lakeside clawed their way into the District 7 1A championship with an 11-6 win over visiting Colville in the semifinal.

Wuesthoff connected on a two-run triple in the bottom fourth to put the Eagles up 6-5 on the Indians.

Junior pitcher McKensie Brittos weathered an up-and-down start to pick up the win for Lakeside.
