At Merkel Fields, Mackenzi Gray drove in two runs during a four-run sixth inning to help Northwest Christian (17-5) get past Colfax 8-4 and claim the District 7 2B championship. Seven Crusaders batters had at least two hits in the game. At the 7/9 2B regionals on Saturday, NWC will play Lind-Ritzville/Sprague (10-11) while Colfax (20-2) faces Asotin (13-9) at Merkel Fields, beginning at 11am.
