Summary

After giving up three hits in the first inning, Kylie Bremner gave up only one more hit the rest of the way, finishing with nine strikeouts and only two walks as Mead rolled to a 12-2 victory over Lewis and Clark. Sydney Hellman went 3 for 5 with three RBIs, Shannon Payne went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs scored and Ashley Hammond went 2 for 2 with three runs scored for the Panthers. Lewis and Clark took the early 2-0 lead on RBI singles by Anna Budke and Naomi Harris.

With the loss, Lewis and Clark is eliminated, finishing its season 7-16. Mead advances to regionals with a third seed and a 15-7 record. Their next game will be Tuesday at the Mid-Columbia Conference's No. 2 team.
