Cade VanWormer had five RBIs and Kyle Jones went the distance with nine strikeouts helping Cheney roll to a 16-4 victory over visiting East Valley in a District 7 2A game on Monday night.

Cheney will travel to West Valley for the district championship on Tuesday night. East Valley ends its season.

VanWormer hit a 2-run home run and a 3-run triple. Dom Bonilla hit a 2-run single and Connor Pratt added a 2-run double for the Blackhawks.

Connor Ramm hit an RBI double and Colin Spendlove and Jared Dittmer each hit RBI singles to lead East Valley.
