Riverside got strong play from their seniors once again for the second game against Newport with seniors Hayley Pace and Keelin Hunt both hitting home runs in the first inning as part of a 13-2 Riverside win. Pace went on to hit another home run in the second inning, while Melanie Manning hit another one in the fourth before freshman Sarah Peterson hit the fifth home run for Riverside in the fifth inning. Pace, Peterson, Manning and Kendra Aronson were each 3 for 4 from the plate for Riverside.
