Summary

Freshman Chloe Chalfant went 2 for 2 with three RBIs and a two-run home run in the first inning to lead East Valley to a 14-2 win over Clarkston in the second of a doubleheader to conclude the regular season on Thursday.

East Valley's Katy Sinn went 4 for 4 with four RBIs -- two singles, a double and a triple -- and concluded the season with a .641 batting average. Megan Aliverti went 2 for 2 with a single and a double for Clarkston.

East Valley clinched the district 7 2A two-seed in the first game, and will rematch Clarkston next Tuesday, April 12 in a loser-out postseason game.
