Summary

Katy Sinn launched a walk-off two-run home run in the fifth inning to seal East Valley's 13-3 win over Clarkston in the first of a doubleheader on Thursday.

Down 3-1 in the fourth, East Valley rallied off 11 runs to aide the fifth inning conclusion. Freshman Chloe Chalfant went 2 for 3 at bat with two RBIs and a fourth-inning two-run home run and Kendall Brown went 3 for 3 with three doubles and three RBIs for East Valley.

With the win East Valley clinched the district 7 2A two-seed, and will rematch Clarkston next Tuesday, April 12.
