Summary

Freshmen Kaitlyn Ward and Danika Tomazich hit their first varsity home runs to carry Sandpoint to a 10-5 victory over Moscow. Tomazich's home run and Ward's grand slam were hit in the bottom of the fifth and allowed Sandpoint to score seven runs and pull away from Moscow in scoring. Moscow's Bri Bentley was 3 for 4 and scored twice. Sandpoint's Bri Baldree pitched a complete game and finished with nine strikeouts.
