Summary

Brandon Davis had six hits and drove in eight runs, four in each game, to power the Davenport Gorillas to a pair of five-inning victories over the visiting Springdale Chargers in Northeast 2B play on Tuesday.

Cruz Plasencia had a double, triple, three RBIs and two runs scored to help Davis, who doubled and tripled among his three hits, guide Davenport to a 15-3 win in the opener.

In the second game, Tom Wilkie, who picked up the win on the mound in the opener, had three hits including a solo home run, to go along with three RBIs and four runs scored in the Gorillas' 15-5 win. Davis tripled twice and added a double in the nightcap.
