Summary

Colton held off Grangeville 6-5 Saturday at the Asotin tournament.

The Wildcats built a 5-0 lead thanks to the efforts of Peter Schultheis, who went two for three with two RBIs.

The Bulldogs rallied and twice cut the lead to one, but Austin Meyer struck out the side in the seventh to extinguish the threat and pick up a save. Meyer also went two for three at the plate and batted in a run.
