Summary

Lauren Taylor had four hits and scored the winning run as Northwest Christian rallied past visiting Rogers 12-11 on Friday.

The Crusaders fell behind early thanks to the Pirates' seven-run first inning, but methodically worked their way back into the game. NWC still trailed entering the sixth, but Taylor lashed a triple, her second of the game, to drive in the tying run. She then scored herself on an error.

Alexys Tibbetts also had four hits for the Crusaders, and winning pitcher Mattea Nelson went two for three with two runs.

For Rogers, Alexis Kortness batted four for five with a run.
