Summary

Kalista Mettler limited Timberlake to one hit as host Freeman defeated the Tigers 6-1 in a nonleague softball game on Thursday. Mettler, a senior in her first season as the Scotties No. 1, struck out five Tigers. Miranda Atwood had three hits for Freeman, including a two-RBI double in the first inning. She finished the game with three runs batted in. Asriel Lynn and Josie Schultz each had two hits for the Scotties. Schultz drove in two runs.
