Summary

Lakeside came out of the gates strong and held on to defeat host Connell 6-3 in game two on Wednesday.

Ben McConnell hit an RBI double to open the scoring in the first inning, and Tucker Anderson followed up with a run-scoring triple. Chase Kuhnert added three RBIs for the Eagles, as he had five hits on the day.

The Eagles rallied and loaded the bases in the seventh, but Bradley Rehwaldt induced two popups to end the game and collect the save.
