Summary

Max McCullough scored the winning run, and Post Falls edged host Rogers 5-4 after a 10-inning marathon opener Friday.

The Trojans struggled early, as they managed just one hit in five innings against Pirates starter Evan Norden. Norden fanned seven before exiting.

PF pushed across three in the sixth to tie the game, and McCullough came across on an error in the top of the tenth to win it.

Jacob Elliott pinched four scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win.
