Summary

Match Burnham came up big down down the stretch to propel Liberty into the 2B title game as the Lancers edged Brewster 55-52.

Burnham finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds.

Liberty took the lead for good on Clay Fleming's two free throws with six minutes left, and Burnham took over from there. He scored the final 15 points of the game for the Lancers, as he shot 11-of-12 from the free-throw line in the fourth. His put-back with under a minute left gave Liberty a 52-48 lead. He added another pair of free throws, then made one of two with 3.5 second remaining. He followed that up by blocking Timbo Taylor's three at the buzzer to seal a dramatic win.

Kyle King chipped in 11 points and five assists for Liberty. Taylor finished with 19 points and six boards for the Bears.
