Summary

Samantha Woodley scored 23 points and hit four free throws in the final 17 seconds as Toutle Lake erased an eight-point halftime deficit and edged Mabton 48-45 in a 2B consolation game.

Woodley hit two from the line with 16.9 seconds left to put the Ducks on top 46-45. She made two more with 2.2 seconds left to cap the scoring. Mabton's Irene Pineda heaved a half-court buzzer-beater, but it was off the mark.

Ashlynn Dean added 12 points and six rebounds for Toutle Lake, which will play Colfax in Saturday's fourth-sixth place game at 9:30 a.m.

For Mabton, Desanay Guerrero had 15 points and seven rebounds and Alyssa Nash added 12 points and five assists.
