Peyton Souvenir and Sam Boyce led the way, as Wahkiakum bested Mabton 68-58 in the 2B quarterfinals.

The first half featured a series of runs. The Mules started on top 14-7, but the Vikings responded with an 18-4 burst.

The game remained tight into the fourth quarter before Boyce knocked in a three to put Wahkiakum ahead 57-53 with five minutes remaining. The Mules then pulled away late thanks to a pair of steals from Kaylee Bryant and some free-throw shooting. Souvenir made eight-of-ten from the line and Wahkiakum shot 20-of-36 as a team to just seven-for-12 freebies for Mabton. The Mules also held a 41-30 rebounding edge.

Desanay Guerrero made eight-of-16 shots and all six of her free throws to lead the Vikings.
