Summary

Ceci Bergquist hit the game-winning free throw with a tenth of a second left, and St. George's bested visiting Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 40-39 on Saturday.

The game was tight throughout on senior night for the Dragons. The Broncos' Tessa Jantz tied the game with a pair of free throws with seven seconds left, but Bergquist drove then drove the length of the floor and was fouled with .1 left. She made one out of two as SG closed out the regular season with a win. The Dragons won despite being outrebounded 42-21. They made up for it somewhat by winning the turnover battle 17-7.

Hailey Higashi led SG with 18 points and five steals. Bergquist finished with 11 points and eight rebounds. Jantz had 14 points for LRS, and Jenna Bennett netted 13.
