Summary

Shadle Park held a 15-point lead at the half but had to hold off Ferris' furious fourth-quarter rally to earn a 63-59 Greater Spokane League win on the road Friday evening. The Saxons outscored the Highlanders 26-17 in the fourth with all of Shadle Park's points coming from the free-throw line.

Sam Stratton hit 7 of 8 free throws in the fourth quarter on the way to 16 points. Keil Nelson led the Highlanders with 17 points and Kylan Kelley added 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Mike Ervin notched 13 of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter and also pulled down six rebounds. Jace Van Lierop scored 10 of his 17 points in the fourth.

Shadle Park had a large advantage at the free-throw line, making 21 of 30 free-throw shots while Ferris made 5 of 7.
