Summary

Rogers hoped to keep pace atop the GSL Friday night, but Lewis and Clark's tough defense slowed down the Pirates and the Tigers pulled off a 59-46 win.

Naje Smith scored 24 points to lead all scorers for LC, who outscored their guests in each quarter to slowly pull away. Smith also had five rebounds and five assists, while Dom Oliveri added 10 points and seven boards.

Tate Dunbar dropped in a team-high 15 points for Rogers, KJ Hassett stroked three threes to finish with 14.

Rogers' loss leaves Central Valley alone in first at 11-3, while the Pirates, Tigers and University are in a three-way logjam at 10-4. LC visits CV next Tuesday in a key clash.
