Summary

Robert Staples tallied 30 points as St. John-Endicott outlasted Touchet 60-56 in overtime on Saturday.

Staples scored from all over the floor, as made 10 of 21 shots from the floor, including four from behind the three-points line, and made six of his eight free throws. Most of those free throws came in the extra session, when the Eagles finally shook off their guests in a game that was close throughout. The score was tied at halftime, at the end of the third quarter and at the end of regulation.

The Eagles broke a two-game losing skid with the victory.

Colter McKeown led the Indians with 15 points, while Lot Butler notched 14 and Mikael Butler added 13.
