Vithor Marin led all scorers with 20 points as Northport pulled away to defeat visiting Valley Christian 60-28 on Friday.

Marin also distributed four assists. Lino Belli notched a double-double, with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Henry Lee added 12 points as well.

The Mustangs blew open a close game with a 20-5 second quarter, and expanded their lead even more in the second half.

James Segalla notched eight points to lead the Panthers.
