Summary

Michael Hannan had a big night on Friday as Central Valley seized first place in the GSL with a 65-53 win over visiting Shadle Park.

Hannan collected 22 points and 12 rebounds, both team-highs for the Bears. Despite being tied at the half, the hosts were able to pull away in the third, as three different players splashed home a three.

Cameron Tucker tacked on 12 and Josh Thomas had 10. CV outrebounded the Highlanders 35-19 on the night.

N'Keil Nelson led Shadle with 21 points, with 16 of those coming in the first half. Andreas Brown added 12.

CV's win, combined with losses by University and Rogers, put the Bears into sole possession of first.
