Summary

KJ Hassett's strong second half helped Rogers remain tied atop the GSL standings with a 62-36 win at Mt. Spokane on Thursday.

Hassett scored 13 of his 20 points in the second half, where Rogers pulled away to turn a 28-20 lead at the intermission into a comfortable win. Robert Rucker drilled four three-pointers as he added 17 for the Pirates, and Melik Hampton chipped in 15 on seven-of-10 shooting.

Rogers entered the night in a three-way first place tie with Central Valley and University at 8-2. All three schools won Thursday to improve to 9-2.

Sam Stiels led the Wildcats with 14 points.
