Summary

East Valley was able to hold off a second-half rally from Cheney to earn a 51-41 Great Northern League victory on Tuesday.

The Knights took a 25-19 lead into the half but were held to just four points in the third quarter. After three quarters of play the Blackhawks led 30-29 but could not hold on as East Valley outscored Cheney 22-11 in the final quarter.

Tanner Jacobs scored 7 of his game-high 16 points and Dante Clayton added 8 of his 11 points in the decisive fourth quarter. Clayton also pulled down 10 rebounds.
