Summary

Shania Graham had a triple-double, and undefeated Republic advanced with a 69-25 win over Muckleshoot Tribal in the 1B regional round of state at Mt. Spokane on Saturday.

Graham scored a game-best 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field. She also recorded 10 rebounds and 10 steals.

After a tight first quarter ended with the Tigers up 12-10, Republic put the outcome beyond doubt, as they put together a 48-10 surge over the second and third periods.

The win means the Tigers move on to the state quarterfinals at the Spokane Arena, a year after they were eliminated in the regional round by Pateros. They also improved their unblemished record to 24-0. Sierra McQuay added 11 points, seven rebounds and seven steals.

Sheylynn Lozier connected on three three-pointers and scored 13 points for the Kings.
