Summary

Cierra Jo McKeown again came up big for Touchet in a 62-48 win over Pomeroy at Clarkston in the District 9 1B Tournament.

A night after nearly lifting the Indians to an upset of unbeaten Colton, McKeown netted 38 points, as Touchet advanced to the regional round of state. McKeown connected on 17-of-18 free throws, with 14 of those makes coming in the final quarter.

Touchet's next matchup will come next weekend, with the opponent and date to be determined.

Kacey Halbert scored 14 points for the Pirates, who were eliminated.
