Summary

Sugar-Salem shot an efficient 42% from the floor and 45% on three-pointers and withstood Timberlake's third-quarter comeback to defeat the Tigers 40-33 in the 3A State Championship. Abby Allen led the Diggers with 15 points, while Hannah Crane had a team-high 11 rebounds. Timberlake forced 27 turnovers and scored 17 points off those turnovers, but struggled offensively otherwise, shooting only 19% from the field. Allison Kirby led the Tigers with 21 points and had six rebounds and five steals.
