Shadle Park's season came to an end Saturday as the Highlanders fell 68-54 at Kennewick in a 3A subregional game. Alex Garcia stroked five threes and had 24 points to lead the Lions.
For Shadle, Jared Burns knocked in five triples as well for 16 points, George Pilimai scored 10 and Sam Stratton added six points and nine rebounds.
The Highlanders led 28-24 at the half, but succumbed to the hosts' second-half onslaught, as Kennewick poured in 11 threes for the game.
