Summary

Lakeside extended their season for another day, as the Knights came back to defeat Council 42-40 Friday in a consolation game at the 1A DII State Tournament.

Lillian Rhea led the Lakeside with 10 points and seven rebounds. The Knights trailed 21-14 at halftime, but a strong second half was enough to get them past the Lumberjacks.

Zoe Wessels netted a game-best 17 for Council.

Lakeside's final game of the season comes Saturday in the consolation final against Nezperce at 9:15 AM MST.
