Summary

Freeman built a big lead, watched it all but disappear, then hit clutch free throws down the stretch to defeat Medical Lake 51-48. The Scotties led 43-29 at the end of the third, but that lead was cut to three with three minutes to go. Jack Paukert, who led Freeman with 19 points, went 7-9 from the free throw line in the game, but 4-4 in the last couple minutes to seal the win. Ryan Maine added 16 points for the Scotties. For Medical Lake, Tellas Johnson had a team-high 17 points.

With the victory, Freeman advances to play Riverside tomorrow at 7:30. With the loss, Medical Lake's season comes to a close.
