Summary

With just under 10 seconds remaining and the game tied at 44, Chris Kelly made a shot from down low while being fouled and converted the 3-point play to put Liberty Christian up by 3. Touchet's Colter McKeown had his 3-point game-tying attempt clang off the rim at the buzzer and the Patriots escaped with 47-44 victory over the Indians in a loser out game at the District 9 1B tournament in Clarkston on Friday evening. Liberty Christian advances to play in a winner-to-state game against the loser of the Garfield-Palouse vs. Pomeroy matchup later in the evening and Touchet's season came to an end.

Kelly had a game-high 23 points for the Patriots and Cameron Godwin added 12.

Colter McKeown led the Indians with17 points while James Kates contributed 11.
