Summary

Lakeside forced 23 turnovers and cruised to a 66-31 victory over Colville in their 1A district championship game. The Eagles used a big run in the second quarter to build a 40-15 lead by halftime. Jocelyn Cook-Cox led Lakeside with 16 points and had a double-double with 10 rebounds. Sienna Swannack added 14 points and had five rebounds, four assists and four steals. Megan Lee led Colville with six points.

With the win Lakeside advances to state with the regional first seed. Colville will play Medical Lake for the second seed at West Valley Saturday at 6 p.m.
