Summary

Colton Magers led four players in double figures with 16 points and Wilbur-Creston leaned on its defense to get past St. George's in a 2B subregional loser-out game at Whitman College in Walla Walla.

The win gave the Wildcats a berth to the regional round of the state tournament. They'll play Walla Walla Valley Academy today at Whitman College to determine the third and fourth seeds.

Wilbur-Creston's Dorian Jaeger added 14 points and four steals and Nick Densley chipped in 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

Trystan Rosman, who scored 10, matched up primarily against St. George's Felix Tsai, and helped limit him to just two points through three quarters. Tsai scored 10 in the fourth. St. George's Cade Peplinski tallied a team-high 14 points.

Wilbur-Creston shot 41 percent from the floor, including 8 of 15 3-pointers.
