Summary

Joe Pasquale missed his first three-pointer. He didn't miss again, finishing 6-7 on three-pointers and scoring 25 points for Lake City as the Timberwolves defeated Coeur d'Alene 62-42 in 5A Region I semifinals. In addition to Pasquale's outstanding performance, Quinn Mitchell had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Nick Hancock had 12 points and seven rebounds. For the Vikings, Colby Daniels had a team-high 18 points.

With the victory, Lake City advances to the district championship against Post Falls, which will be played at Post Falls Tuesday at 7 p.m. Coeur d'Alene will play Lewiston at Coeur d'Alene at 7 p.m. on Tuesday as well.
