Summary

Courtney Gray's 16-point, 13-rebound effort helped Northwest Christian advance past St. George's 48-33 Friday in a 2B subregional loser-out contest in Walla Walla.

Treasure Farmer added 10 points, eight boards and five assists for the Crusaders, who bounced back after a 46-45 loss to Dayton in Monday's opening round. Rachel Bozlee also scored 10 for NWC, while Mackenzi Gray tallied nine points and 10 rebounds.

Hailey Higashi led the Dragons with 14 points and eight rebounds. St. George's was short-handed after losing sophomore star Ceci Bergquist to a torn meniscus in their last game against Asotin. Allison Hayes helped fill the void with a 10-point effort.

NWC will now play Saturday against the winner of the game between Lind-Ritzville/Sprague and Reardan.
