Summary

Katee Hubert notched 23 points and 10 rebounds, Jacey Shaw chipped in 18 points and eight boards, and Dietrich put away Lakeside 64-44 Thursday at Nampa in the 1A DII State Tournament opening round.

The Knights never seemed to get a foothold in the game, as the Blue Devils started strong and amassed a 35-19 lead by halftime.

Jordyn Nomee had a team-high 14 points for Lakeside. Cailyn Dohrman added 13 points and Lillian Rhea totaled 12 points and 13 rebounds.

The Knights will next play Council Friday at 6:15 MST in the consolation round.
