Pomeroy staged a second-half rally to knock off St. John-Endicott 53-49 Tuesday in a District 9 1B contest.

The Pirates faced a 30-17 hole at the half, but Kacey Halbert scored 19 of her 25 points after the break to fuel the comeback. She had 11 in the fourth quarter alone. Savannah Ruark added 11 points for Pomeroy.

Sierra McCanna notched 14 points for SJE, and Gracie Dickerson tallied 10.
