Summary

Emily Drake scored 23 points, including a game-winning three at the buzzer, and Pullman rallied to nip host East Valley 56-54 and claim the District 7 2A Tournament Championship.

Drake made five three-pointers for the Greyhounds, who trailed 44-37 entering the fourth quarter, but outscored the Knights 19-10 from there. Rebecca Wickard added 14 points and 13 rebounds. Pullman outrebounded East Valley by 15 on the night.

Elle Burland led EV with 12 points, and Skylar Bastin netted 10. The Knights erupted for 25 first-quarter points, but never topped 11 in any other period.

Both schools advance to regionals on Saturday against CWAC teams. Pullman will host the winner of Tuesday's Wapato vs. East Valley (Yakima) contest, and East Valley will travel to play the loser of the game between Selah and Ellensburg.
